Nexus Building I

Nexus Building I is located in Barcelona, in the northern campus of the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC). It was the first example of collaboration with this university, promoted by us to promote technical transfer between the academic world and business.
This innovative office building was designed by the architect Lluís Nadal. It has a total constructed area of 10,000 m2 and is surrounded by extensive gardens.
It has glass walls and open floors with natural light. Its attractive and unusual form has led to its use as a stage and backdrop to a number of advertising campaigns.
Aside from its aesthetic criteria, its architectural design enhances synergies between work teams and exchange between business and the academic world. It offers modular office space of between 50 and 230 m2 and multiple services.
Currently, Nexus I is occupied by companies in the technology sector and R&D departments. Its success has led us and the UPC to work together on the development of another building with the same purpose, Nexus II.
