Barcelona, April 7, 2026.- Apolo Cybersecurity, a firm specialized in comprehensive cybersecurity services, has joined the DFactory Barcelona ecosystem, the international benchmark hub for Industry 4.0 promoted by the Consorci de la Zona Franca de Barcelona (CZFB). To mark its arrival, the CZFB’s executive president, Pere Navarro, and its general director, Blanca Sorigué, held a welcome event this morning together with Apolo Cybersecurity’s CEO, Carles Flamerich, CMO Eric Serrano, and Account Manager Alberto Martí. During the meeting, both parties held a discussion that marks the beginning of the company’s activity within the internationally renowned industrial innovation ecosystem promoted by the CZFB.

Apolo Cybersecurity acts as a strategic partner for organizations to safeguard their digital assets, offering a value proposition that goes beyond traditional consultancy. The company provides holistic protection, ranging from security leadership (CISO as a Service) to active technical defense, integrating itself into its clients’ operations to ensure business continuity, neutralize advanced threats, and protect corporate reputation in an increasingly hostile digital environment.

One of Apolo’s main differentiating values is its commitment to democratizing high‑level cybersecurity, making advanced capabilities accessible to companies of different sizes and sectors, especially within highly digitalized industrial environments.

“Carles Flamerich, CEO of Apolo Cybersecurity, explained that ‘Industry 4.0 —with technologies such as IoT, robotics, and artificial intelligence— exponentially increases the attack surface, making traditional perimeter security clearly insufficient. We have decided to establish ourselves at DFactory Barcelona to contribute an additional layer of intelligence and proactive defense to this innovation ecosystem.’ Flamerich added, ‘Our goal is to support the companies within the hub throughout the entire lifecycle of their projects: from the secure design of new technologies to the continuous monitoring of critical infrastructures, ensuring that innovation remains resilient, reliable, and sustainable over time’.

For his part, Pere Navarro, executive president of the CZFB, stated that ‘the arrival of Apolo Cybersecurity at DFactory Barcelona strengthens our commitment to a secure, resilient Industry 4.0 that is prepared to face the challenges of the digital environment. Cybersecurity is a key pillar of industrial transformation, and having a strategic partner like Apolo —with a comprehensive and proactive approach to protecting digital assets— brings great value to our ecosystem and to the companies that are part of it.’”

Finally, Blanca Sorigué, general director of the CZFB, also welcomed Apolo Cybersecurity’s incorporation into the DFactory Barcelona ecosystem, highlighting that ‘it represents a highly significant step towards further strengthening an innovative industrial ecosystem that is also secure and reliable. In an environment where digitalization, automation and the intensive use of data are key, cybersecurity becomes an essential element for companies to grow, innovate and compete with confidence.’

The incorporation of Apolo Cybersecurity strengthens DFactory Barcelona’s positioning as an international benchmark environment for technology companies leading digital transformation and contributing to building a safer, more resilient and competitive industry. DFactory Barcelona now hosts more than 40 companies and is currently close to full occupancy. The internationally recognized Industry 4.0 ecosystem has already begun its expansion works, which will allow it to grow from its current 17,000 m² to 60,000 m² with the construction of four new buildings. The first buildings of this expansion are expected to be completed by the end of next year, allowing new companies to move in at the beginning of 2027.
