Countdown to SIL 2026: the major logistics sector event begins tomorrow

- More than 600 companies will participate, 30% of them international, along with 80 startups, 160 exclusive global innovations, and 250 internationally renowned speakers.
- The SIL opening ceremony will take place tomorrow at 10:00 a.m. with the participation of the Secretary of State for Transport and Sustainable Mobility, José Antonio Santano; the Secretary for Business and Competitiveness of the Government of Catalonia, Jaume Baró; the Deputy Mayor of the Barcelona City Council, Jordi Valls; the Executive President of the Consorci de la Zona Franca de Barcelona (CZFB) and of SIL, Pere Navarro; and the Director General of CZFB and SIL, Blanca Sorigué.
Spain’s Minister of Transport and Sustainable Mobility, Óscar Puente, and the Mayor of Barcelona, Jaume Collboni, will preside over the SIL Logistics Night, which will take place tomorrow at 8:00 p.m. at the Hotel Torre Melina (Barcelona).
Barcelona, June 2, 2026. – The International Logistics Exhibition (SIL Barcelona 2026), organised by the Consorci de la Zona Franca de Barcelona (CZFB), will open its doors tomorrow at Fira de Barcelona (Montjuïc venue) to celebrate its 28th edition, bringing together companies, experts and professionals from across the global supply chain. Over three days, from June 3rd to 5th, SIL will once again position Barcelona as one of the leading international logistics hubs and as a key forum to analyse the sector’s challenges and opportunities in a context shaped by technological transformation, sustainability and geopolitics.
The opening ceremony, which will take place tomorrow at 10:00 a.m. in Hall 8 at Fira de Barcelona’s Montjuïc–Plaza España venue (CZFB Stand), will be attended by the Secretary of State for Transport and Sustainable Mobility, José Antonio Santano; the Secretary for Business and Competitiveness of the Government of Catalonia, Jaume Baró; the Deputy Mayor of the Barcelona City Council, Jordi Valls; the Executive President of the Consorci de la Zona Franca de Barcelona (CZFB) and of SIL, Pere Navarro; and the Director General of CZFB and SIL, Blanca Sorigué.
An international event with strong business participation
This new edition will gather more than 600 companies and over 15,000 visitors, as well as more than 250 speakers and an extensive programme of activities, including more than 150 professional events and high-value networking spaces.
Pere Navarro, Special State Delegate at CZFB and President of SIL, highlights SIL’s role as a “benchmark international trade fair that has become a global launch platform for many companies in the sector. This year, participating companies will present more than 160 innovations exclusively at world level.” He also stressed that “the logistics sector is highly dynamic, characterised by its ability to connect people, companies and talent, and to generate major opportunities.”
SIL will focus on the main trends transforming the logistics sector, such as artificial intelligence, big data, IoT and blockchain, with more than 160 innovations presented exclusively worldwide. Among the key new features is the SIL Lab space, dedicated to innovation and talent, as well as the participation of around 80 startups showcasing solutions in the field of logistics 4.0.
Additionally, the SIL Knowledge congress will bring together international experts to address key topics such as sustainability, supply chain digitalisation and the impact of geopolitics on global logistics flows.

Tomorrow’s official opening will mark the start of three intense days of business activity, networking and sector debate.
