SIL 2023 and AERCE sign an agreement to promote the latest solutions in logistics and Supply Chain among the Purchasing sector

• The leading logistics, transport, intralogistics and supply chain fair in Spain, the Mediterranean and Latin America (SIL), has signed a collaboration agreement with the Spanish Association of Professionals in Purchasing, Contracting and Procurement (AERCE), to connect the professionals in Purchasing with the latest technological solutions for the logistics and supply chain.

• Organised by the Consorci de la Zona Franca de Barcelona, SIL 2023 will take place from 7 to 9 June in pavilion 8 of the Montjuic-Plaza España exhibition centre at Fira de Barcelona.

Barcelona, February 10, 2023.- SIL 2023, one of the world’s largest trade fairs for logistics, transport, intralogistics and supply chain, and the Spanish Association of Professionals in Purchasing, Contracting and Procurement (AERCE), this morning have formally signed a collaboration agreement to promote the latest trends in logistics and supply chain among the Purchasing sector. The agreement took place in the offices of Zona Franca in Barcelona with the signature of Blanca Sorigué, managing director of the Consorci de la Zona Franca de Barcelona (CZFB) and SIL, and Cristian Lienas, president of AERCE.

The managing director of the CZFB and the SIL, Blanca Sorigué, has remarked: “we are proud to have the support of AERCE in a very special edition as the 25^th anniversary of the SIL. In a constantly changing global context as such the current one, the work of the Purchasing professionals in the Supply Chain is fundamental”.

Cristian Lienas, president of AERCE, values this agreement as follows: “a magnificent opportunity for our associates, a key link en the supply chain, to learn about the latest trends and the most innovative resources to successfully face the global challenges that will mark the future of this sector in the short and medium term”.

Thanks to this agreement, all AERCE members will have a free Visitor Pass that will allow them to see all the latest and most innovative solutions presented by more than 650 companies participating in the fair, they will have access to the SIL Knowledge programme, and will have the opportunity to participate in the activities of the Networking Circle with the aim of establishing strategic contacts with leading professionals and companies in the sector.

SIL 2023, which will celebrate its 25^th anniversary this year, will take place from 7 to 9 June in pavilion 8 of the Montjuic-Plaza España exhibition centre at Fira de Barcelona.
