SIL 2024 warms up with a networking day at DFactory Barcelona

• The companies participating in the next edition of the leading trade fair for Logistics, Transport, Intralogistics and Supply Chain in the Mediterranean and the Atlantic have visited the benchmark ecosystem of Industry 4.0.

• The next edition of SIL Barcelona, which will take place from 5 to 7 June, has already an 85% occupancy rate just over three months ahead of its edition

Barcelona, February 28, 2024.- DFactory Barcelona hosted today a networking day between the companies that will participate in SIL 2024, the leading fair in Logistics, Transport, Intralogistics and Supply Chain in the Mediterranean and the Atlantic, organized by the Consorci de la Zona Franca de Barcelona (CZFB), which will be held from June 5 to 7 and which, three months ahead of its celebration, has already 85% of its surface area occupied. 

During their visit to DFactory Barcelona, exhibiting companies, associations, partners, sponsors and collaborating entities of the next edition of the SIL, have had the opportunity to learn first-hand about the ecosystem of international reference in the field of industry 4.0 that has become the new building promoted by the CZFB.

The special delegate of the State in the CZFB, Pere Navarro, stressed that “the meeting has served to warm up engines for the great event of the sector, as well as to open the doors of the cathedral of industry 4.0 to the companies that will participate in the fair, so that they can learn about the activity that takes place in this place, where there are also companies working on solutions applied to logistics.”

For her part, the general director of the CZFB, Blanca Sorigué, pointed out that “this conference is a value-added proposal for companies and entities that maintain their commitment to SIL year after year, as well as for those that will participate in the event for the first time. All of them are a fundamental part of the project and we wanted to offer them the opportunity to share their ideas and concerns for the next edition”.

This meeting also served as an opportunity for the participating companies to learn about all the networking and business possibilities offered by SIL 2024 with the aim of obtaining maximum profitability with their participation.
