SIL 2025 brings together the global logistics and supply chain sector in Barcelona

- 650 participating companies, 30% of them international, 163 exclusive global product launches, 350 speakers of international renown and more than 250 company events are the main highlights of SIL 2025.

Barcelona, 17 June 2025.– The International Logistics Exhibition 2025 (SIL) will open its doors tomorrow, Wednesday 18 June, and will bring together, until Friday 20 June, the entire global logistics and supply chain sector. The opening ceremony, which will take place tomorrow at 10:00 am in Hall 8 of the Montjuic-Plaza Espanya venue at Fira de Barcelona (Stand CZFB), will be attended by the Secretary of State for Transport and Sustainable Mobility, José Antonio Santano, the Secretary General for Territory, Housing and Economic Transition of Catalonia, Jordi Terrades, the Deputy Mayor of Barcelona City Council, Jordi Valls, the Government Delegate in Catalonia, Carlos Prieto, the Special State Delegate to the Consorci de la Zona Franca de Barcelona (CZFB) and President of SIL, Pere Navarro, and the General Director of the CZFB and SIL, Blanca Sorigué.
SIL, organised by the Consorci de la Zona Franca de Barcelona (CZFB), is Spain’s leading trade fair for the Logistics, Transport, Intralogistics and Supply Chain sectors, as well as being one of the world’s leading reference points.
From 18 to 20 June, more than 14.000 participants will gather in Barcelona, with the participation of 650 companies, 30% of them international, who will present 163 exclusive global product launches and host more than 250 events. It is estimated that SIL will have an economic impact on the city and its metropolitan area of more than 50 million euros over the three days of the event.
Pere Navarro, Special State Delegate to the CZFB and President of SIL, states that “this year, the participating companies will present more than 160 innovations, a figure that highlights SIL’s importance as an international benchmark trade fair and its role as a global launch platform for many companies in the sector.” Navarro added that “the logistics sector is highly dynamic and is very advanced in its technological transformation process, with the implementation of technological advances that have contributed to greater efficiency, optimisation, traceability and sustainability. All this is creating new job opportunities with next-generation profiles.”
At SIL 2025, which will showcase a live and direct digitalised supply chain in collaboration with 15 companies, the participation of 100 startups is also noteworthy, as is the collaboration of 30 partners and 50 media partners.
350 speakers at SIL Knowledge
Meanwhile, SIL Knowledge, the major international congress at SIL, will once again play a key role, with 70 presentations and 320 international speakers, including logistics and supply chain directors from major companies such as PC Componentes, Silbon, Ebro, Hospital Clínic de Barcelona, Amazon, Dr. Oetker Ibérica, Nestlé Purina, Clecat, Penguin Random House Grupo Editorial, SEAT, Kern Pharma and Synthesia Technology Europe, among others.
“Innovation and Talent for a Sustainable Future” will be the title of this year’s SIL Knowledge, focusing on the digital transformation of the sector and the application of AI, the impact of socio-political strategies on supply chains, decarbonisation and sustainability, as well as the management, attraction and retention of talent. SIL also maintains its commitment to the Mediterranean with the celebration of MedaLogistics Week, in collaboration with ASCAME, which will explore new business opportunities for the logistics sector in Europe, Asia and Africa. Within MedaLogistics Week, the MedPorts & Shipping Summit and the Africa Logistics Meeting will also take place.
SIL will also host the technical conference of UNO, the Organización Empresarial de Logística y Transporte, the Consejo General de Colegios de Agentes de Aduanas y Representantes Aduaneros de España, FERRMED or the Quo Vadis Conference by CIMALSA, among others.
