SIL Barcelona reaches 80% occupancy three months before its celebration

  • In its commitment to internationalization, the 28th edition of SIL Barcelona has 30% of participating companies from different countries.
  • SIL will once again bring together the entire logistics chain, highlighting the increase in the participation of companies specializing in transport, logistics and distribution (32%), intralogistics (25%) and technology and IT (14%).
  • The organization has just opened the online registration to be able to attend SIL Barcelona 2026, whose registration will be free until May 22 and will later have a cost of 60 euros.

 

Barcelona, 18 March 2026. – The International Logistics Exhibition of Barcelona (SIL Barcelona), organized by the Consorci de la Zona Franca de Barcelona (CZFB) and considered one of the world’s leading fairs dedicated to Logistics, Transport, Intralogistics and Supply Chain, will hold a new edition from 3 to 5 June at Fira Barcelona, Montjuïc. To date, when there are still three months left for its celebration, the appointment has great expectations, having reached 80% of contracted area.

Pere Navarro, executive president at the CZFB and president of SIL, highlights that “SIL Barcelona returns once again fully energized and ready to be the main meeting point and networking hub for the entire logistics sector, in a privileged setting such as Barcelona. In addition, the trade fair is preparing to reaffirm its position as the leading showcase for the latest innovations applied to the logistics chain and as a forum for debating how the global context is impacting the supply chain and international trade”.

In its commitment to internationalization, the event already has 30% of confirmed companies from different countries such as: Germany, Andorra, Argentina, Belgium, Chile, China, the United Arab Emirates, Slovakia, the United States, France, Hungary, Italy, Mexico, the Netherlands, Peru, Portugal, the United Kingdom, Turkey and Switzerland, among others.

In the same way, SIL Barcelona will once again be the meeting point of the sector, where the entire supply chain will be represented, with the outstanding participation of companies that offer transport, logistics and distribution services, in 32% of cases; intralogistics, 25%; technology and IT, 14%; infrastructures, another 14%; inmologistics, 9%, among others.

In this sense, it is worth highlighting the increased participation of companies with rail freight services with sustainable solutions, as well as the automation of warehouses applied to different industries, or companies specialized in cold logistics that serve sectors such as food, pharmaceutical or cosmetics.

For her part, Blanca Sorigué, general director of the CZFB and SIL, emphasises that “SIL Barcelona is reinventing itself once again and will feature novelties both in the exhibition and the congress part, with new spaces such as SIL Lab or AI Corner and new formats such as Top Leader Interviews, workshops, international sector conferences such as the Spain Air Cargo Day or the International Logistics Summit, as well as networking activities of the most diverse”.

The CZFB has already opened the online registration to be able to attend SIL Barcelona 2026 as a visitor, whose registration will be free for all professionals in the sector who register before May 22 at www.silbcn.com. After that date, the SIL Barcelona Full Pass will cost 60 euros.
