Barcelona, January 19, 2026.- Sylo, a consultancy specializing in the outsourcing of strategic services, which helps companies gain efficiency, competitiveness, and innovation, has just joined DFactory Barcelona, ​​the leading international Industry 4.0 ecosystem promoted by Consorci de la Zona Franca de Barcelona (CZFB). This morning, the special state Delegate at the CZFB, Pere Navarro, and the CZFB’s General Director, Blanca Sorigué, met with Jesús Ordás, Director of Corporate Strategy, and Rafael Katime, IT Director at Sylo, to welcome them to the ecosystem.

With 20 years of experience in the sector and a team of more than 40 active professionals, Sylo offers clients a combination of knowledge and operational capacity to successfully tackle challenges. The company covers areas such as logistics, retail, automotive, industry, and services. This cross-cutting approach gives them a global market vision, identifying best practices and applying them in an adapted way to maximize each client’s competitiveness. Leading Industry 4.0 from Barcelona

DFactory Barcelona has become the international benchmark ecosystem for Industry 4.0, hosting 40 multinational companies, medium and small enterprises, and research centers that develop pioneering projects in fields such as robotics, sensors, 3D printing, cybersecurity, augmented and virtual reality, artificial intelligence, blockchain, and nanotechnology.

Currently, DFactory Barcelona is at full capacity, which is why it has already begun expansion works to increase its current 17,000 m² of surface area to 60,000 m² by the end of 2026. To achieve this, it is constructing four new buildings: the Cube building—1,100 m² that will host major international events; two buildings of 24,370 m² and 11,640 m² respectively—dedicated to manufacturing, housing new companies, laboratories, technology centers, and offices; and a 2,300 m² building for services to support the ecosystem’s companies.

 DFactory Barcelona promotes open and collaborative innovation among companies, which jointly develop projects and technological solutions. This technology ecosystem holds two international certifications: LEED Gold from the US Green Building Council, which recognizes the design, construction, maintenance, and operation of high-performance, energy-efficient, and sustainable buildings; and, more recently, the WELL Gold certification, which confirms that the building’s various spaces positively impact the health and well-being of its occupants.
