Barcelona, July 29, 2025. –  The sixth edition of the Barcelona New Economy Week (BNEW) 2025, organized by the Consorci de la Zona Franca de Barcelona (CZFB), will take place from September 29 to October 2 at DFactory Barcelona and will feature a comprehensive program of experiential activities. BNEW Experience is the only vertical that will be held entirely in person, aiming to showcase Barcelona’s leisure, cultural, and gastronomic offerings to attendees, while fostering networking in a more relaxed atmosphere.

BNEW Experience will be linked with the various thematic areas hosted by the event this year, all centered around the core concept of the new economy: Digital Industry, Sustainability, Aviation, Health, Mobility and Talent. The program will be expanded with more than 25 experiential activities to promote in-person participation over the four days of the event.

Pere Navarro, the Spanish Government Delegate at the Consorci de la Zona Franca de Barcelona, emphasizes that “BNEW is a unique event, initially launched in a hybrid format, although at the beginning the digital aspect had a greater prominence due to the pandemic, which limited in-person attendance. From the first edition, it was clear to us that we wanted everyone to know this event happens in Barcelona—highlighting what defines us: our culture, gastronomy, art… In this sixth edition, we will further boost experiential activities by offering a broader range and opening the doors of such a unique building as DFactory to all attendees.”

Art exhibitions and workshops including painting, sculpture, and wood-based art led by artists such as Sabrina Delgadillo, Juan Niubo, Maria Boggiero, and Damián Quiroga from NAU ART, along with Akasha Vanessa, will bring attendees closer to the most innovative, sustainable, and immersive art experiences they’ve ever witnessed.

Attendees visiting BNEW in person will also enjoy demonstrations of tech solutions applied to industrial and logistics environments, as well as showcases of robots, vehicles, and 3D-printed models from brands such as Siemens, 9 Altitudes, Pirineos Drone Air Cargo, Kion Group, IAM 3D Hub and Elisava, all highlighting the latest innovations across various sectors.

This new edition of BNEW will also feature fashion showcases with Laura Sumoy and her project Suspiria, as well as exhibitions of 3D-printed clothing by Excelencia Tech; magic shows designed to enhance networking by Thomas Lopes, live music by DJ Gerard Miles, and a wide variety of gastronomic tastings courtesy of Fever Tree, La Dama de Copas, Trinxat el Carlit, Consell de la Fruita, Decántalo, Foix de Sarrià, Ktring, Singularis, Roux Bcn, among others.

All of this will take place once again in Barcelona, specifically at DFactory Barcelona, the internationally renowned Industry 4.0 ecosystem powered by the Consorci de la Zona Franca de Barcelona. In the words of CZFB’s general director Blanca Sorigué: “In recent editions, we’ve seen a rise in attendance, and we believe the time has come to enhance it further by encouraging networking among attendees in a dynamic, original, and different way. That’s precisely the driving force behind BNEW Experience: networking in a disruptive and inspiring mood and setting. And what better place to do it than surrounded by this 4.0 ecosystem at DFactory Barcelona.”
