The CZFB and Talent Factory join forces to foster entrepreneurial talent among young people

Barcelona, September 21, 2026. The Consorci de la Zona Franca de Barcelona (CZFB) and Talent Factory have signed a collaboration agreement to promote entrepreneurial talent among young people and bring them closer to the world of business, innovation, and project creation. The agreement signed this morning at DFactory Barcelona by the CZFB’s General Director, Blanca Sorigué, and the Director of Talent Factory, Juan Castilla, strengthens the partnership that both organizations have maintained over recent years.

 Through this partnership, the CZFB joins the 2026 edition of Talent Factory as a collaborating entity. Talent Factory is an initiative that promotes the entrepreneurial spirit among students through a programme of guidance, mentoring, and innovative project development. Its objective is to help young people discover and enhance their capabilities by providing them with the tools and knowledge needed to transform their ideas into real opportunities for the future.

Talent Factory develops local and regional programmes in which participants work on their business initiatives with the support of mentors from the business community. The finalist projects present their proposals to a specialised jury, and the winning team has the opportunity to travel to Silicon Valley to gain first-hand insight into one of the world’s leading innovation ecosystems.

This collaboration is part of the CZFB’s strategy to foster talent as a key driver in building a more innovative, sustainable, and competitive industry. For years, the Consorci has promoted initiatives aimed at connecting education, business, and technology to create new professional opportunities and strengthen the knowledge-based economy.
