The CZFB receives the FEmImpacte 2025 Award for the impact of a public-private collaboration project

Barcelona, October 9, 2025.– The Consorci de la Zona Franca de Barcelona (CZFB) received yesterday the FEmImpacte 2025 Award in the category that recognizes the impact of a public-private collaboration project. Promoted by the Associació Empresarial de L’Hospitalet and Baix Llobregat (AEBALL), this award has recognized the District 4.0, promoted by the CZFB, which is generating added value for the socio-economic development of the region through strategic alliances, innovative cooperation models, and high-impact joint actions. And within District 4.0, DFactory Barcelona stands out as the nerve center, with 40 companies installed, forming one of the largest Industry 4.0 ecosystems in Europe and which will reach 60,000 m² by the end of next year.
The event, which was held at the Hotel Porta Fira in Hospitalet de Llobregat, was presided by the president of the Fòrum Empresarial del Llobregat, Santiago Ballesté, the president of the Consell Comarcal del Baix Llobregat, Eva Martínez, the Vice-president of the Àrea de Desenvolupament Social i Econòmic de l’AMB, Jordi Valls, the delegate of the Government of the Generalitat de Catalunya in Barcelona, Pilar Diaz, and the mayor of Hospitalet de Llobregat, David Quirós. On behalf of the Consorci de la Zona Franca de Barcelona, Iñaki García Bernis, Director of Financial and Investment Officer, accepted the FEmImpacte 2025 Award for the impact of a public-private collaboration project.
In addition to the category recognizing the impact of a public-private collaboration project, the FEmImpacte 2025 Awards also honored companies and organizations that have generated the greatest economic, social, cultural, and sustainability impact, as well as the impact of a public entity on businesses.
