Barcelona, December 13, 2024.- The company Zentinel MDS, specialized in industrial observability, has been recognized with the industry 4.0 award at the celebration of the 4th edition of the Catalonia La Razón Awards, which took place yesterday at the headquarters of Foment del Treball Nacional in Barcelona.
Founded in 2022, Zentinel’s mission is to offer innovative and responsible solutions for the digitalization of production processes, relying on its ZentONE platform and advanced technology. The company focuses on helping companies, of any corporate size, that encounter challenges when obtaining figures and data about their production, especially when they do not come from the control systems of their machinery.
The award recognizes Zentinel’s work and focus on guaranteeing a cybersecure and sustainable technological solution, since data does not travel over the internet or is stored or processed in the cloud, which eliminates the risks of cyberattacks and minimizes energy consumption. María Rivas, Chief Operating Officer and founder at Zentinel, said, during the award collection, that “this recognition is a milestone for the company, and we are deeply grateful for this award. With our dedication and experience, we seek to contribute to the efficient and safe development of production processes in companies, ensuring their competitiveness and sustainability.”
The company aims to reduce operating costs, reduce energy consumption and the use of raw materials, reduce the percentage of defective production and, at the same time, promote the retention of talent in operators by providing timely information through the implementation of its disruptive technology. Currently, the company is based in DFactory Barcelona, the industry 4.0 ecosystem of international reference promoted by the Consorci de la Zona Franca de Barcelona (CZFB), where Zentinel’s professional team shares facilities with 35 companies also dedicated to technologies such as robotics, sensors, IoT, BlockChain, augmented and virtual reality and artificial intelligence.
