EAIRIS Technologies joins the innovative DFactory Barcelona ecosystem

Barcelona, September 8, 2026. – DFactory Barcelona, promoted by the Consorci de la Zona Franca de Barcelona (CZFB), continues to consolidate its position as the largest Industry 4.0 ecosystem with the addition of EAIRIS Technologies, a company specialized in the design of Industrial EdgeAI architectures and systems for industrial environments. This morning, the Executive President of the CZFB, Pere Navarro, and the General Director of the CZFB, Blanca Sorigué, welcomed EAIRIS Technologies, represented by its founder, Jordi Gutiérrez.
With this addition, DFactory Barcelona strengthens its technological ecosystem by integrating new capabilities in artificial intelligence applied to industry, cybersecurity, and connected systems. EAIRIS Technologies brings an approach focused on applied research, the design of vendor-independent architectures, and the validation of technologies in real environments, with the aim of transforming isolated technological initiatives and pilot environments into governable, operable, and scalable systems.
The company works on the development of Industrial EdgeAI ecosystems that enable greater efficiency, security, and adaptability in industry, aligned with new European regulatory frameworks such as the AI Act, the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA), and the NIS2 Directive. Its activity is based on collaboration with industrial and technological stakeholders to accelerate knowledge transfer, the implementation of innovative solutions, and to contribute to strengthening European technological sovereignty.

An ecosystem of 50 companies transforming industry
The addition of EAIRIS Technologies strengthens DFactory’s positioning as a European benchmark in industrial innovation, promoting the connection between talent, technology, and business to move toward a more digital, sustainable, and competitive industry. DFactory Barcelona currently hosts more than 50 companies and is now fully occupied. This internationally recognized Industry 4.0 ecosystem already has its expansion well underway, which will allow it to grow from the current 17,000 m² of space to the planned 60,000 m² with the construction of four new buildings. The first buildings of this expansion are expected to be completed by the end of next year, with new companies set to move in at the beginning of 2027.
