In this sense, the initiative is part of a global strategy started by the CZFB whose objective is the internationalization of some of its services and especially its know-how in the organization of international fairs”.

The special delegate of the State at the CZFB has also recalled that “SIL has always been meant as an important bridge for business, networking and knowledge between the Mediterranean and Latin America in the logistics sector.”

Lastly, Pere Navarro has also wanted to explain that “as a result of this agreement that we reached with Corferias in October 2020, we will organize a SIL America in Barranquilla, that we’re very excited about and believe that can be a good opportunity for the Spanish companies in the sector to become more international, as well as to open up to the Colombian market which is in full expansion and with an important infrastructure development plan ”.

It should be noted that Corferias is a private company that promotes industrial, social, cultural and commercial development in the Andean Region, Central America and the Caribbean. Its main objective is to strengthen the cooperation links between Colombia and the world community through the organization of fairs, exhibitions, events and conferences, quality networking between visitors and exhibitors in a venue managed under international standards.
