Inauguration of the first incubator for 3D European business printing projects

Next Monday, February 11, will take place the inauguration of the first European incubator of high-tech in 3D printing, 3D Factory Incubator. The opening act will be chaired by the Minister of Science, Innovation and Universities, Pedro Duque.

The event will also be attended by Barcelona’s Mayoress and President of the Zona Franca Consortium (CZFB), Ada Colau; the Special State Delegate to the CZFB, Pere Navarro; the President of Leitat, Jordi W. Carnes; and the President of the INCYDE Foundation, Jose Luis Bonet.

Due to the limited capacity of the incubator, -which is a work centre with industrial printing machinery-, media attendees are required to arrive punctually at 11:00 a.m. at the headquarters of Consorci de la Zona Franca de Barcelona (Avda Parc Logístic 2-10) to take a tour of the facilities of the incubator, prior to the opening ceremony on the same day, which will begin with the arrival of the Minister at 1 p.m.

In order to engage in the previous visit and the inauguration, it is essential to register the journalists in attendance from today until Thursday, February 7 at 12 pm through the email address: PressConsorciZF@elconsorci.es. To attend the event, journalist must provide: name, media company, ID number and contact information.

After the media visit of the facilities, non-graphic journalists will be able to follow the opening ceremony on a closed-circuit television in a media room equipped for this purpose, while the graphic journalists will be able to follow the opening act. At the end of the event, Minister Pedro Duque will go to the media room to provide a short press conference before the end of the ceremony.

Due to the scheduled time of the inauguration, in addition to information material for the media, a snack will be offered to the journalists who attend the event.
