Barcelona, 8 March 2019. The Consorci de la Zona Franca de Barcelona celebrated International Women’s Day by paying tribute to the women who work on the Free Trade Zone Industrial Estate, generally in logistics and industry positions, which are traditionally associated with men.
The entity has sponsored a campaign starring working women on the industrial estate, to help to banish stigma and give visibility to women as active participants on the site. With a bold claim, #jotambésócFranca, is an invitation to talk openly about equality between the women and men who work in this industrial and business area of metropolitan Barcelona.
Social networks in general and the Consorci’s own social profiles will be the priority means in order to spread this campaign that will raise awareness on this special day.
