Barcelona, February 5, 2026
. – The Salón Internacional de la Logística de Barcelona (SIL Barcelona), organized by the Consorci de la Zona Franca de Barcelona (CZFB) and considered one of the world’s leading trade fairs dedicated to Logistics, Transport, Intralogistics and Supply Chain, will hold a new edition from 3 to 5 June at Fira Barcelona, Montjuïc. With a strong focus on innovation, the event is preparing for its twenty-eighth edition with new features in both content and format, such as the SIL Lab, an AI Corner, Top Leader Interviews, workshops, international sector-specific sessions like the Spain Air Cargo Day or the International Logistics Summit, as well as a wide range of networking activities.

One of the main new features will be the new spaces dedicated to innovation, digitalization and talent, such as the SIL Lab or the AI Corner—dynamic areas featuring technological demonstrations, immersive experiences, inspiring talks and hands-on workshops, where practical use cases, tools and trends related to the application of Artificial Intelligence and other technologies in the supply chain will be shared.

Pere Navarro, Special State Delegate at the CZFB and President of SIL, points out that ‘the world is moving at a dizzying pace — and logistics is no exception. New tools are emerging every day, developed through technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, IoT, 5G, sensors, robotics, and more, which help us to be more efficient in our work. And it is up to us to ensure that they do; we cannot look the other way, because we would be missing opportunities. At SIL 2026, we will learn how to do this through examples, practical cases, and highly inspiring sessions.’

Another major new feature comes from new formats and content in the SIL Knowledge program, with interviews and dynamic conversations with experts and key players in the sector that will allow for a direct and personal exploration of key topics, as well as participatory debates with managers of freight companies or sector-specific events such as the Spain Air Cargo Day or the International Logistics Summit, which are added to those already held in previous editions such as the COACAB Congress, the UNO Logistics Technical Conference or the Meda Logistics Week, among others.

In this way, once again, the event reinforces its commitment to internationalization—both in its knowledge and networking program and in the exhibition area—where the participation of companies from various countries has already been confirmed, including Germany, Belgium, China, Slovakia, France, Hungary, Italy, Mexico, Netherlands, Portugal, Turkey or Switzerland, among others.

For her part, Blanca Sorigué, General Director of the CZFB and SIL, highlights thatAll these and other new features we will see in the next edition of SIL are the result of our commitment to continue innovating every day and to offer new content and experiences to our visitors, 96% of whom hold decision-making or influencing positions within their companies. And we do this together with our partners—companies, organizations, media, and industry associations—who rely on SIL as a business platform, meeting point, and forum for discussion, where companies’ latest developments, logistics trends, and the challenges the sector will face in the coming months can be shared.’

In this context, SIL Barcelona will once again serve as the key meeting point for the sector, bringing together the entire supply chain. The event will host companies offering transport, logistics and distribution services; technology and IT solutions; infrastructure; real estate logistics; talent development; intralogistics; Industry 4.0 solutions; last‑mile and e-commerce delivery services; and sustainability initiatives.
