  • Under this agreement, the Col·legi d’Economistes de Catalunya and the CZFB will strengthen their relationship in order to carry out joint actions with the aim of collaborating on future projects and initiatives.

 

  • The agreement was signed by the Special State Delegate to the CZFB, Pere Navarro, and the Dean of the Col·legi d’Economistes de Catalunya, Carles Puig de Travy, at a meeting held at the DFactory Barcelona.

 

Barcelona, 3 April 2023. – The Col·legi d’Economistes de Catalunya (CEC) and the Consorci de la Zona Franca de Barcelona (CZFB) have signed a collaboration agreement to carry out joint actions with the aim of collaborating on future projects and initiatives. This agreement was signed during a meeting between the Special State Delegate to the CZFB, Pere Navarro, and the General Director of the CZFB, Blanca Sorigué, with the Dean of the Col.legi d’Economistes de Catalunya, Carles Puig de Travy, and the Manager of the Col.legi d’Economistes de Catalunya, Maurici Olivé, at the DFactory facilities.

The aim of this agreement is to tighten the bonds of collaboration in future projects and initiatives. These include the organisation of activities, seminars and events that may be of interest to the groups they both represent, as well as the use of communication tools and platforms they each have to promote and disseminate the conferences and other events aimed at both audiences.

The Col.legi d’Economistes de Catalunya is a corporation with more than 7,400 members, as well as 1,500 associated companies and firms dedicated to the different aspects of economics and business. It organises activities and provides services, acting as a centre for training and professional updating and as a forum for opinion open to society in general.

Pere Navarro has stated during this event that “we are really proud to close an agreement that will be very beneficial for both institutions. The CZFB has always been committed to strengthening cooperation between different administrations, and the Col·legi d’Economistes de Catalunya has a privileged position among companies in Catalonia, which will allow us to create synergies among our public”.

On his part, the Dean of the Col·legi d’Economistes de Catalunya, Carles Puig de Travy, stressed “the importance of generating synergies and agreements between economic entities with the aim of contributing to the digital and green transformation of the economy”. After the visit, the Dean of the CEC highlighted the intense activity at DFactory Barcelona with leading companies in the Industry 4.0.
