Barcelona, 26 July 2018. Today, the Special State Delegate in the Consorci de la Zona Franca (CZFB) Pere Navarro, and the president of the Chamber of Commerce of Spain Josep Lluís Bonet signed a cooperation agreement today to become strategic partners in Catalonia in technology transfer of 3D additive manufacturing processes for new business projects, an activity that will lead to the development of the dFactory Incubator, a European 3D technology incubator in the Free Zone.

As president of the Institute for the Creation and Development of the Enterprise, (INCYDE), Josep Lluís Bonet visited the headquarters of the Consorci to see the future site of the dFactory Incubator. A call has already been issued to companies wishing to participate in this project, with rules accessible in www.dfactorybcn.org. Companies have until 31 October to submit their projects.

This high-tech incubator for the promotion of innovation and 3D technology transfer to enterprises and micro-SMEs is 50% co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund within the Spanish Multiregional Operational Programme ERDF 2014-2020.
