The end-to-end rental management and reverse logistics solution for eCommerce

NEWE is the end-to-end service that makes it possible for retailers to put their products to rent at their own online channel. The solution consists of a software integrated into the retailer’s eCommerce for rental management, direct and reverse logistics, warehousing and product quality checks. Currently, the start-up already works with clients in the technology and consumer electronics sector -such as PcComponentes- and fashion sector and is making its way in verticals such as sports, health and wellness or the home.

The start-up was born in the middle of the pandemic by the two founders Pablo Candau (CEO) and Ramón Borruel (COO) who, a few months later, were joined by three other partners: Juan Miguel Dicenta (CTO), Inma Quintanilla (CSO) and Ruth Russo (CMO & CSR). According to Ruth Russo, “The BNEW award is one more way to recognize all the effort, hours and commitment that the team has dedicated to the company. Our goal is to continue growing and change the paradigm of linear shopping, convincing end consumers that there are consumer alternatives that are not only more sustainable, but also more focused on the user experience and more efficient. ”

This same month, NEWE closed a private round of € 170,000 together with investors such as Aurorial, an investment vehicle for PcComponentes, Unitatea and Draper B1. This monetary injection seeks to expand the technology and sales team to be able to consolidate in the Spanish market and make the leap to Europe by the end of 2022. Pablo Candau, CEO of the company, warns that “retailers are looking for innovative solutions that help them to attract and retain customers”. Candau adds that “whoever does not join the trend of products payment on use will be outnumbered by the competition.”
