BNEW will celebrate its fifth anniversary with a vertical on aviation as a novelty

• It reaffirms itself as the benchmark event of the new economy with an innovative and hybrid format -with streaming broadcasting-, which allows the attendance of professionals from more than 100 countries.

• The 5th edition of the Barcelona New Economy Week (BNEW) will be held at DFactory Barcelona, the internationally renowned industry 4.0 ecosystem promoted by the Consorci de la Zona Franca de Barcelona.

Barcelona, July 3, 2024. – The Barcelona New Economy Week (BNEW) 2024, an event organized by the Consorci de la Zona Franca de Barcelona (CZFB), will hold its fifth edition from 7 to 10 October at DFactory Barcelona, the internationally renowned industry 4.0 ecosystem. The event will maintain its hybrid format, with the transmission of all content via streaming and the celebration of both digital and face-to-face networking initiatives connecting the main sectors of the new economy.

The event, which reaffirms its position as a benchmark event for the new economy, adds on this occasion the Aviation vertical, which will address the latest innovations and sustainable strategies that are shaping the future of air transport. In this way, BNEW 2024 will have three sets and seven key sectors for the new economy: Aviation, Health, Digital Industry, Talent, Sustainability, Mobility and Experience.

This formula allows professionals from different economic sectors, various industries, small and medium-sized enterprises, large corporations, administrations and institutions and startups to be reached at the same time, which will actively participate in the content program. This makes BNEW a disruptive and innovative event that is committed to the possibilities, new forms and change of economic paradigm offered by new technologies.

All this will happen, once again, in the city of Barcelona, considered one of the most cutting-edge technology hubs in Europe and the city of reference for the new economy, which is firmly committed to this new way of doing things and has a wide 4.0 business ecosystem.

In the words of the special delegate of the State in the Consorci de la Zona Franca de Barcelona (CZFB), Pere Navarro, “in a context of unprecedented transformation such as the one we are experiencing, DFactory Barcelona will once again become the epicenter of the new economy. The fifth edition of BNEW will provide a unique opportunity to learn from the most influential voices of the most innovative companies and gain a broad view of the trends and challenges that are shaping the global economic landscape”.

On its fifth anniversary, BNEW expects to bring together nearly 350 top-level national and international speakers, giving rise to 140 hours of content distributed in 100 panels, debates and sessions. The event will maintain its hybrid format to facilitate the attendance of people from anywhere in the world, who can register for free.

As in previous editions, the event has a state-of-the-art digital platform from which participants from any country will be able to follow live or deferred the content that will take place on the sets located in the DFactory Barcelona. The only vertical that will only take place in person will be the BNEW Experience, which seeks to introduce those attending the event to the leisure, cultural and gastronomic offer of the city of Barcelona, as well as networking.
