Fundación Incyde and Zona Franca de Barcelona have deepened their collaboration with BNEW

• The Incyde Foundation of the Spanish Chambers of Commerce and the Consorci de la Zona Franca de Barcelona have signed a collaboration agreement by which Incyde has joined as a partner of BNEW in its second edition.
• The collaboration agreement has been signed by the special delegate of the State in the Consorci de la Zona Franca, Pere Navarro, and José Luis Bonet, president of the INCYDE Foundation of the Chambers of Commerce.

Barcelona, 21 May 2021 – The Consorci de la Zona Franca de Barcelona (CZFB) and the Incyde Foundation of the Chambers of Commerce have signed a collaboration agreement for the next edition of the Barcelona New Economy Week (BNEW), which will take place from October 5 to 8, For which Incyde joins the event as a partner during its second edition with the aim of being part of the development of the new economy.

The signing ceremony, which took place at the CZFB offices, was attended by José Luis Bonet, president of the INCYDE Foundation of the Chambers of Commerce, and Pere Navarro, special delegate of the State at the Consorci de la Zona Franca of Barcelona and president of BNEW.

Pere Navarro has pointed out that “BNEW has consolidated itself as an engine for transformation, not only by doubling the content and presentations, but also by continuing to add allies among the main social, public and private agents, to make this event the main guide for the new economy ”.

For his part, José Luis Bonet stressed that “BNEW is an opportunity to lay the foundations of the new economy as a source of innovation and progress. For this reason, from Incyde, one more year, we join this great initiative promoted by the Barcelona Free Zone Consortium that seeks to reinforce and promote the competitive advantages of companies and the importance of entrepreneurship in our ecosystem”.

For his part, José Luis Bonet stressed that “BNEW constitutes an opportunity to lay the foundations of the new economy as a source of innovation and progress. For this reason, from Incyde, one more year, we join this great initiative promoted by the Consorcio de la Zona Franca de Barcelona that seeks to reinforce and promote the competitive advantages of companies and the importance of entrepreneurship in our ecosystem ”.

BNEW, a showcase for ten economic sectors

With a completely innovative, 100% professional and hybrid B2B format, the great economic event has extended its program up to ten thematic areas: Mobility, Sustainable, Talent, Science and City, as a novelty, apart from the ones already present in its first edition such as Logistics, Digital Industry, Ecommerce, Economic Zones and Real Estate. In turn, the CZFB also plans to expand the number of speakers and go from 389 to 700 in this new edition.

The second edition of BNEW will continue to promote internationalization as a key element, as well as on generating business through 100% virtual networking using artificial intelligence, matching interests and directly connecting supply and demand. Likewise, in the BVillage space, the participating companies will be able to make presentations of their products or services via videoconference as well as interact with the attendees. The organization hopes to go from the 128 companies present in this space to 400 in this new edition.

The first edition was attended by 10,861 participants, from 111 different countries, 90% of which did so online.
