SIL 2026 reaffirms its role as a leading international trade fair at the FITAC Congress in Colombia

- The exhibition stand has attracted great interest among the Congress attendees, reaffirming its leading role in Spain and its position as a benchmark in Latin America in the fields of logistics, transportation, intralogistics, and supply chain.
- The State’s Special Delegate at CZFB and President of SIL, Pere Navarro, and the General Director of CZFB and SIL, Blanca Sorigué, have participated as speakers in the academic agenda of the congress.
Barcelona, 5 December 2025.- SIL Barcelona, Spain’s leading trade fair for the Logistics, Transport, Intralogistics and Supply Chain sectors, as well as one of the world’s major benchmarks, organized by the Consorci de la Zona Franca de Barcelona (CZFB), is present this week at the 26th edition of the FITAC International Congress, the Colombian Federation of Logistics Agents in International Trade, held from December 3 to 5 in Cartagena de Indias, Colombia.
The State’s Special Delegate at CZFB and President of SIL, Pere Navarro, and the General Director of CZFB and SIL, Blanca Sorigué, visited the SIL Barcelona stand, where the 28th edition of the trade fair—taking place from June 3 to 5, 2026—is being promoted, with the aim of reaffirming its international role as a business bridge in the logistics sector between the Mediterranean and the Atlantic and attracting the participation of Latin American companies in the event
During the visit, Pere Navarro emphasized “the importance of actively participating in forums such as FITAC, one of the most important congresses in Latin America, which serves as a meeting point for key institutional players and executives in the logistics and foreign trade sectors, where we undoubtedly need to be present.”
For her part, Blanca Sorigué referred to the “close and long-standing relationship between SIL Barcelona and FITAC, being one of our strategic alliances in Latin America and a valuable partner for the trade fair. We look forward to continuing to work hand in hand and celebrating many achievements together.”
Likewise, both are also participating in the academic program of the congress as international speakers. Pere Navarro was one of the invited authorities at the opening ceremony and also spoke at the conference on “Barcelona’s Vision: Building the New Digital Ecosystem for International Trade.” Meanwhile, Blanca Sorigué meanwhile is participating in the panel “Building Competitive Advantage Through Diversity and Innovation.”
SIL 2026: More innovation
Having closed its latest edition with 15,134 visitors, 650 participating companies—30% of them international—250 events, and 163 world-exclusive innovations, SIL Barcelona is preparing for its 28th edition, more innovative than ever, featuring new formats, new content, and new participating companies.
Following the integration of AI into its digital platform—which enabled 7,363 contact exchanges and 12,177 messages between attendees—and the implementation of new features such as the Smart Agenda and the virtual assistant SILvIA, SIL Barcelona is focusing its efforts on introducing innovations that create real business opportunities, high-level connections, and valuable content, so that industry professionals can respond and adapt as quickly as possible to the major changes taking place in the sector’s day-to-day operations.
