The API collective of Catalonia will have a prominent role in BNEW Proptech

• Colleges and Association of Real Estate Agents (API) in Catalonia collaborate in the development of the program of the new vertical Proptech of the Barcelona New Economy Week (BNEW).
• Ana Puigdevall, general director of API, and Blanca Sorigué, general director of the CZFB, signed the agreement this morning at DFactory Barcelona.

Barcelona, September 13, 2023.- The Barcelona Free Zone Consortium (CZFB) has signed a collaboration agreement with Colleges and Association of Real Estate Agents (API) in Catalonia, through which the collective becomes a partner of the fourth edition of the Barcelona New Economy Week (BNEW). to be held from 2nd to 5th October at DFactory Barcelona. The signing ceremony of the document took place today in the facilities of this unique building, converted into the cathedral of industry 4.0 and repeated as the setting for the event. The general director of API, Anna Puigdevall, and the general director of the CZFB, Blanca Sorigué,  participated in it.

During the meeting, Blanca Sorigué stressed that “BNEW has analyzed since its first edition, in 2020, how the implementation of technology, digitization and innovation contribute positively to the efficiency and performance of companies and their workers, in each and every one of the sectors of activity. Proptech is a clear example of the evolution of a key sector for the world economy such as Real Estate, to adapt to the new economy”.

For her part, Anna Puigdevall pointed out that “the BNEW is an innovative event adapted to the new needs of the attendees. From API Catalunya, as leaders in knowledge of innovation in the real estate sector, we always seek to reach all actors how innovation allows to improve both the efficiency of their businesses and give a better service to customers, this year with a special focus on Artificial Intelligence”.

In this way, API Catalonia has formalized its commitment to collaborate in the design and elaboration of the program of the new vertical Proptech, which will take place Wednesday 4th and Thursday 5th October and will delve into the most technological and digital part of Real Estate.

More specifically, BNEW Proptech will present the success of eBuyers, the use of Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) in the search for housing; how AI and Machine Learning generate data analysis and market trends providing valuable information for investors, real estate agents and developers; in addition to using proptech as a tool to promote sustainability in Smart Cities.

Fourth edition of an unprecedented event

The Barcelona New Economy Week (BNEW) has its fourth edition in 2023, consolidating itself in a reference event that has positioned the city as the capital of the 4.0 economy. However, BNEW plans to bring together more than 500 speakers who will offer up to 140 hours of content distributed in 100 panels, sessions and debates. This event will have the participation of the most cutting-edge startups in each of the sectors involved and with a forecast of more than 12,000 attendees, who will be able to enjoy a complete content program structured in seven key verticals: Digital Industry, Proptech, Mobility, Talent, Sustainability, Health and Experience.

In this fourth edition, the panels and activities corresponding to the verticals Digital Industry, Mobility, and Sustainability will take place on October 2 and 3, while the conferences and debates corresponding to Proptech, Health and Talent will take place during the following two days, October 4 and 5.
