The spotlight will be on networking at the SIL 2019

• The SIL will strengthen Networking opportunities with the Círculo Logístico, an International Networking Lunch, a Match & Meet and a new App to put participating companies in touch with attendees and speakers from simultaneous congresses.

• The Leading Exhibition for Logistics, Transport, Intralogistics and Supply Chain in Southern Europe (SIL 2019) will coincide with eDelivery Barcelona Expo & Congress and InTrade Summit BCN, which includes the World Free Trade Zone Congress, the International Logistical Operators of Latin America and the Caribbean (ALACAT) Congress, the International Congress of Authorised Economic Operators (OEA) and the MedaLogistics Summit.

Barcelona, 14 March 2019. This year, the 21^st Leading Exhibition for Logistics, Transport, Intralogistics and Supply Chain in Southern Europe, SIL 2019, will provide networking opportunities for participating companies to boost business contacts and volume. SIL 2019 is organised by the Consorci de la Zona Franca de Barcelona and will take place from 26-28 June in Hall 8 of the Montjuïc-Plaza España in Fira de Barcelona site, adding synergies to the 3^rd edition of eDelivery Barcelona Expo & Congress, and InTrade Summit BCN, an event that encompasses the World Free Trade Zone Congress, the International Logistical Operators of Latin America and the Caribbean (ALACAT) Congress, the MedaLogistics Summit and the International Congress of Authorised Economic Operators (OEA).

An APP for making quality contacts

One of the most important innovations at SIL 2019 will be the launch of a new version of an App for making quality contacts. The SIL 2019 APP will be available a month before the fair, giving participating companies an opportunity to send instant messages to all attendees and speakers of the congresses held in parallel with SIL. The app is useful for scheduling meetings during the Leading Exhibition for Logistics, Transport, Intralogistics and Supply Chain in Southern Europe with attendees of interest.

Match & Meet

All registered visitors have a private area that they can access from the SIL website to request appointments with participating companies. Visitors to SIL can also access the “Match & Meet” feature through the trade fair App. This tool enables visitors to visit SIL 2019 with a ready-made meeting schedule and to make their most of the time at the trade fair. It is worth remembering that there were more than 900 direct meetings between participating companies and visitors at the last edition of SIL, all managed through the “Match & Meet” system at SIL.

International Networking Lunch

To coincide with the World Free Trade Zone Congress, the International Logistical Operators of Latin America and the Caribbean (ALACAT), the MedaLogistics Summit and the International Congress of Authorised Economic Operators (OEA), SIL 2019 will hold an International Networking Lunch on 26 and 27 June. This International Networking Lunch is an opportunity for participating companies to meet more than 600 decision-makers from Europe, Latin America and the Mediterranean. This International Networking opportunity is also open to all registered visitors at SIL. It costs €60 to participate for one day and €100 to participate in both.

Círculo Logístico, a place for meeting sector leaders

The Círculo Logístico is the SIL’s networking event par excellence. The Círculo Logístico’s Speed Dating and Networking Lunch will take place on 26 and 27 June, where companies participating in SIL will be able to contact executives from leading companies in Logistics, Supply Chain and Operations, from industries like food, mass consumption, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, hospitals, motor vehicle industry… Last year’s Círculo Logístico hosted more than 3,500 quick meetings.
