Nearly 80 emerging companies will participate in the Startup BNEW 2023 Innovation Hub

- The fourth edition of BNEW once again has a unique meeting point between companies, entrepreneurs and investors to connect with each other, collaborate in an open innovation environment and give birth to projects with economic and social impact.
- The five best startups from each vertical will have the opportunity to present their project in a 5-minute pitch to a specialized audience.
- The BNEW 2023 Best Startup Awards ceremony will take place at a gala dinner to be held on October 4 on the terrace of DFactory Barcelona.
Barcelona, September 20, 2023. – Nearly 80 emerging companies will participate in the BNEW Startup Innovation Hub, within the framework of the fourth edition of the Barcelona New Economy Week (BNEW), which will be held between October 2nd and 5th at DFactory Barcelona. Each of the startups will participate in the vertical corresponding to their professional activity: Digital Industry, Proptech, Mobility, Talent, Health and Sustainability.
One more year, BNEW Startup Innovation Hub will be the meeting point where emerging companies present the latest technological advances in different industry sectors and can connect between corporate companies, potential partners and investors. Thus, the five best startups from each vertical will have the opportunity to present a creative and innovative solution to the main industrial companies from around the world, to investors and venture capital companies. To do this, they will be able to prepare a 5-minute pitch before a specialized audience, which will take place on the morning of Thursday, October 5, on the Inspirational set.
More specifically, BNEW Digital Industry will have the presence of Vessel Chain, Gandolapp, Placenet Internet of Places, TodoB2B, DOST, Bug Blue Logistics Sarl, Crowmie, Pets & Vets, Zentinel and Esportian Education. Regarding the BNEW Proptech vertical, the following startups will participate: Equito.app, Reental Token, Jotavirtual, Nash21, Payli and Additive Spaces. In turn, BNEW Mobility will include: Janvi Logistics, Estoko Logistics, Tenders Europe, Vecla, Vaive Logistics and Torch. For its part, BNEW Talent will feature: Metrickal, Your Waiter, Acceleralia, Go4clic, Vasta, Jog Training, Leviathan, Rocking Innovation and HDR. As for BNEW Health, the participating startups are: Soala, Monitoring-Life, Ulbios Techsens, Doctomatic, Myorcare and 4mediks. Lastly, in BNEW Sustainability, will be present: Last Mile Team, Lune, Leser, Novapedra, Mr. Bean Coffee LTD., Biyiud, Sustein Material, Agualytics, Love TV Channels, Travel 2 Care People and Planet, Pots Innovative Reuse Systems, Live Fresh Biotech and Somhi.
In parallel, emerging companies will be able to network through B2B in-person meetings and the BNEW platform with professionals from different economic sectors, industries, companies, administrations and institutions, as well as access specialized knowledge of the sector with free tickets.
Best Startup Award
All projects presented will be candidates for the BNEW awards, which will award only one of them in each vertical category with the BNEW 2023 Best Startup Award. The presentation of these awards will take place at a gala dinner that will take place at DFactory Barcelona on Wednesday, October 4, starting at 7 p.m.
The BNEW 2023 Best Startup Awards jury will evaluate the solutions presented based on the impact of the project for the industry, the capacity of the management teams and the high-value technological solutions that provide sustainable competitive advantages. Likewise, the sustainable growth potential of the startup, its ability to influence the economy and society and its innovation component will be taken into account.
